There are obviously other life forms out there. The universe is gigantic. The chance that there is other life is much higher than people believe.

You know, just throwing stuff out there is not the same as using critical thought. You have no idea how much life is out there. Even the Drake equation requires input parameters for which we have no idea what they are. Maybe life is much rarer than people believe.

Please leave alien microbes alone. We can't handle microbes on Earth; yet we are thinking of messing around with aliens. Why do we look out for what can potentially kill us for the sake of knowledge?

Definition of life is really vast here! If microbes are ‘living’, then human life should have a differnt meaning. How about looking for conscious life out there!
-
We are. But we haven't found any. Make one wonder if life's much more rare than most people assume.

Soo sorry. Human species is the only microbe that can be beaten by a flu (covid). The rest of them (virus & micro), just step on us and make us crawl. How miserable we are.
-
Eh? Humans are microbes?
