The deterioration of US/Chinese relations is a lose/lose proposition for both sides. It is also a huge obstacle to dealing with threats like pandemics, climate change ,conflicts and protectionism. There is a need for a verbal cease-fire and an end to strife for domestic use.

A win/win would be a world standing behind the US in dealing with China to: - determine the * true origin of the virus * reasons for the lack of transparency - address China's * currency manipulation * intellectual property theft * unfair trade practices
