The masks keep you from touching your own mouth or nose with dirty hands, which is a good reminder. Primarily, though, if you have a cough it keeps you from coughing and sneezing on others, which is crucially important.
-
The masks help you to trap and furthermore multiply the virus within your own system as you sneeze or cough into it and then re-breve it.

Last time I checked our Health Minister without any proper education in health said: "We got this, everything is fine" 2 days later we get Coronavirus

Pure unadulterated bull shit. If the mask is N95 it's the best protection against infected airborne and sprays. Tell this to public health officials. Yes washing your hands is important as well but don't give us falsehoods.

This statement going around the media assumes people are too stupid to: 1) pinch the nose to form a seal. 2) remove using the ear straps instead of touching the outer surface.
