Trial with what? In the height of combat and one is HIV positive...a soldier may survive the GSW but he'll never survive the HIV contracted by his fellow HIV-positive soldier

Everyone on the field is either wounded or has deep/superficial scratches from crawlings/small shrapnels/falling/climbing/diving to a hole and these people wants to sue the military because of their HIV? GTFO!

In combat, service members may be subjected to emergency, field condition transfusions. No one can have H.I.V. in the service. PERIOD!

I can see both sides, honestly. Obviously, their claiming discrimination, the US government is claiming its a risk to others contracting HIV, which it is if the person is on the battlefield.

No. There are too many risk factors. I know it seems unfair but for the safety of others there are some vocations people with HIV should not have.

My children have Crohn’s disease, so can’t be in the military. It’s not discrimination, it’s because they could not handle being in combat without taking several daily medications, the same as HIV.
