New rules: No SCOTUS selection, or impeachment, if we are even a little bit close to an election. Or if the moon is full. Or if it is a day ending in Y. I guess it is in the fine print on the back of the constitution that we all somehow missed.

The point is that Dems are trying to take the choice of President out of the People's hands. They don't trust the People to "do the right thing".

She has it backwards. There are no term limits on Congress, but there is now on President. That’s the difference. If President had no term limits as originally conceived, then impeachment makes sense.
