Why are people obsessed with having things that look like them? Narcissism at the extreme.

How is representation a bad thing? And representation does not = narcissism. They’re not wrong for wanting diversity. Diversity is always a good thing. Too long have Barbie dolls just been the same old generic skinny blondes with long hair.
