My most memorable patient was a guy named Harry. He died so many times & rallied back to the land of the living that I hoped he would last forever. I loved him with my whole broken heart. His lungs would fill up. I'd go to ICU to find him hooked up to a ventilator. Cried so much.

My mum spent the last 3 days of her life asleep in a
#palliative care ward in@MercyHealthAus in Albury. Her nuses were highly efficient, but what really blew me away was the tenderness they showed mum, and their consideration for me. That was a profound comfort during a sad timeThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I am not a nurse, just a CNA for 7 years, but your words and emotions, nurse Sandra Maria Kluskowski, were ones I thought and felt in all the years of doing the same for the ones I cared for too. They are all in my heart. So beautifully put. And, yes, they knew you were there.
