OTC work just as well. You need 2000-4000 units per day to lower triglycerides and raise Hdl

At $35.00 for 100/1000mg caps of low DHA omega-3 fish oil = equals one month of OTC for 35 bucks. Big pharmaceutical companies are jerking our chains. $$$$$$$

My physician prescribed it for me unfortunately my insurance coverage would not cover it. I would have to pay out of pocket $318 dollars a month... Sad, that this is the current situation for me and others.

And..... that doesn’t include the restrictions of having to take a statin which cause irreversible harm to the kidneys and smooth muscle all over the body. There is also a high likelihood that chronic Statin use can be causative in sepsis in people over 65. (See next tweet...)

This paper, if you purchase access go on to note that the sepsis was induced by a statin. Then they were treated with another statin that had a beneficial effect. With way I would NEVER take a statin. I’ll keep my OTC omega-3 fish oil, thanks.
