So in California, where having laws are extreme, how has it stopped shootings? I’ll wait........... NewYork, extreme gun laws, have he shootings stopped? I’ll wait..........

Nah! Cuz you can’t stop people from going to a gun show say in Nevada or Arizona and bringing it back! See u didn’t have to wait
-
What about the black market in state? Or would it be better if people stabbed everyone. Guess we will ban knives too. Wait they aren’t allowed to have knives in prison, but people get stabbed.
-
I'd much rather someone come into a club trying to stab people than with a gun. I can run from a knife, I can grapple someone with a knife. I have to be within reach of someone to be killed with a knife. So, yeah.
-
Until someone pulls a Timothy McVay. There is no correct answer for people who want to kill. Be honest about that. Banning every dangerous thing on earth won’t stop that.
-
You’re silly of course it won’t stop people totally but it will reduce it alotttttt. That’s the point. This year we had like 300 shootings what if that number was down to 298 or even 270 or even 200. lives were saved l. And 1 of those 299 could be you

Back that statement with facts. Start in New York and California

Oh I forgot, that was in California

California has the strictest gun control.....
-
He exceeded the California limit for his magazine theres that.

Criminals tend not to follow the laws anyhow. Murder has been illegal almost as long as humans have been around but people still do them. Laws only inhibit those who already follow the law. Funny how this simple concept is so foreign to so many.
-
But aren’t laws put in place to make it harder for law breakers to break other laws that would cause greater loss?
-
Laws related to mass casualty incidents are reactionary, emotionally driven, and incredibly political. Very seldom does it do anything progressive. Lessons come from the after action reports. Most deaths are bc people bleed out...Every HS kid should be a trained 1st responder.
-
We need a baseline level of response. It should be “Run, hide, fight and save”
-
Just FYI, I’ve been handling guns since 3 years old and an owner of multiple guns for 20 years. I’ve never seen one move 1/1000th of an inch on their own. Let alone shoot on their own. Or shoot someone. Please respond. Got plenty of http://FBI.GOV facts to shut you down!

The only prayer I have to offer is that one day, our government can create gun sensible/reform laws and look more into mental health. Something has to change! -
I’d take them enforcing existing ones. He fired a round through a wall in his home, cops spent 90 mins getting him to come out of his room and he was still allowed to legally buy and own a gun. He had red flags, brought to the attention of police, and nothing.
-
That’s a good point. There’s probably some laws in place already that we don’t know about. Ideally, these laws should be same from state to state, but it’s not the case
-
That was the same issue in Florida. There were so many red flags it's disgusting that shooting even happened. We can make more laws, but if we can't handle enforcing the ones we have now, it's empty lawmaking. I'd like a special committee created to create a first-step plan.

It seems like law enforcement And FBI is more worried about stupid Govt issues than it’s own people , 9/11 is one example .
