I literally could not care less about his damn tax returns. What are Democrats really expecting to do if they find something questionable? It is a gigantic waste of time, money, and effort to pursue this.

It really wouldn’t be expensive, time consuming, or difficult if he just showed his tax returns like every other modern president we’ve had. Wouldn’t you want to know if he’s in debt to a bunch of Russian billionaires?
-
It might have been meaningful in 2016. I promise it will result in literally nothing happening. As for Russian billionaires, do you really think he wouldn’t be able to hide that if it were true? There won’t be a line item or a discernible paper trail for that.
-
So why not disclose the fricken tax returns?
-
No idea. He got elected keeping them private, though. I didn’t vote for him.
-
If it reveals information that leads to a crime or a violation if the emoluments clause, that's a big deal, and despite you're promises to the contrary, it would most certainly lead to an Impeachment given that the House is now Dem controlled.
-
Don’t hold your breath about his tax returns revealing a crime if any kind, but even if all of that happened, he would not be removed by the Senate.

...I think the people understand, Mr. President.

Nobody knew getting busted for tax evasion could be this complicated
-
What happened to Russian collusion gave up on that huh? So now you are hoping you can get him on tax evasion? He has law firms and accountants doing his taxes they take responsibility if an error was made you are aware of that right?
-
"Gave up" on Russian collusion? Trump just fired the AG & now Rosenstein is no longer overseeing the investigation. It's falling to shit by Trump's own hand. But no, it doesn't look like anyone's "giving up." Contingencies are in place to keep things going, as are we, the people.
-
He didn't fire the AG, he resigned.. Even provided a resignation letter.
Mueller investigation has been going on for 18 months Trump hasn't stopped it once or tried to fire Rosenstein which he could have done. The president has every right to replace his staff. -
Not sure why you ppl are all concerned about an AG you never liked being fired. I mean besides being complete hypocrites as pre usual and parroting what the media feeds you.pic.twitter.com/6qPSWYq1hw
-
Because he's being replaced with an AG who publicly criticized the Mueller investigation. A clear bias. Where Sessions took the conflict-free road of recusing himself, that bothered Trump so much (wonder why??) that this next AG will be sure to never recuse. That's a big problem.
