MORE: 16 of 17 cases reflect someone echoing presidential rhetoric, not protesting it.http://abcn.ws/2Dn5YqL

Political activism at it's best, way to go @ABC. The ruse of news reporting is alive and well.

Seems pretty newsworthy to me. How many other presidents have had their platform planks show up in police reports?

A true leader would assume responsibility, even if it wasn’t all his, and make changes to stop this.

Like Obama did when his base was out there killing cops? Oh wait that's right, ignore that.

I don’t remember hearing that anyone killed a cop and cited Obama as their motivation, but if they did, then yes, he should’ve addressed it, condemned it, and made changes to his message.

Dallas Texas doesn't ring a bell? What about Baton Rouge? Both obviously done while being urged on by MSM and an Obama administration that openly attacked the police.

And here is how Obama responded after Dallas. If he declared police the “enemy of the people” numerous times and then police were targeted in attacks, and then he continued to call them that, that would’ve been like Trump. It didn’t happen that way...http://fortune.com/2016/07/08/transcript-obama-dallas-police-shootings/ …

Ok. I'll surmise your point to be true. However, then why is the media purposely presenting this narrative that trump promotes this violence? Also, ~300 million citizens and ABC has 17 incidents? That's .00000005% of population.

Yes. That's unfortunate. But these people don't represent the vast majority of voters. Just like I believe the guy who shot up the GOP softball game doesn't represent all Pelosi followers. Let's agree on that and hope rational people can prevail.

I agree 100%, but the problem I still have is Trump encourages/applauds violent behavior and misleads his supporters into thinking things that arent true, which is very dangerous
