These celebrities do nothing to guide my vote. Oprah could cure hunger with her money.

Tell you the truth I don't care what she says! I used to before I saw her for what she is! And that's a rich woman that thinks she talks for the working class Americans! No she doesn't
-
She’s not trying to talk for you she is trying to make you speak for yourself, btw I can’t stand her but on this she is right, can’t call the US a democratic republic if you don’t vote

Thankfully, it was the Republicans who made sure that women received the right to vote with the 19th Amendment.

Oprah Winfrey: "I'm going to talk loud and point a lot about things you can already do, and have been able to do for a hundred years". ffs, give it a rest. You aren't down-trodden in the 21st Centrury.

We got the vote recently, yes, but women haven't been property for a lot longer. Besides, do we have to have a voice for a certain amount of time before we use it? Just cause we got it, does that mean we can shut down others to use it, Rude Girl?

No, “we” don’t have “a” voice, we have millions of independent voices, and no celebrity, not even you, Oprah Winfrey, can speak for us or make us into a mindless mass. We are women, not woman, and we will vote for whomever we want! Now get out of Georgia! You don’t even live here
-
Neither does Mike I'm kinda a big deal too said no one ever Pence

-
He can get out, too. But at least he is a politician with a real interest instead of a cynical celebrity who is blatantly trading on her popularity, and doesn’t know, or care, a bit about politics or Georgia. She’s just a mindless celebrity playing identity politics, like Ferrelpic.twitter.com/6DGFhn8j58
-
Real self interest. You obviously know nothing about Oprah and what she has lived through and survived. Rarely does she get political on any local level. She's absolutely right. Our ancestors(women) and others fought and died for our right to vote. We need to honor them

-
I know enough about Oprah. I plan to honor them by supporting whomever I prefer, as they would want, not by being led as part of a group like the Jonestown fools. I hope you do the same: think for yourself, and support who you believe will represent your own beliefs.
-
Did you even listen to her speech. She didn't tell you WHO to vote for, just to VOTE after discussing the issues. Women don't want a seat at the table, now they're building their own.
-
^^ This! This is exactly what I was going to say. She said vote. Not who to vote for, yet RealFurgas up there is losing their mind.
-
Guess you haven’t heard way up there in Toronto/London (and down in Florida). She. Is. CAMPAIGNING. For. Stacey. Abrams! Context counts. Next time turn on brain BEFORE opening mouth! Then, just stop.
