Because high schoolers are naive enough to vote for Dems.

Of course they are. Now, the high schools need to tie proof of voting with getting your grades for the semester or something.
-
Kids this age are not equipped with sound reasoning skills for a task as important as voting, hell, they shouldn't even be driving!!!

How can the city council alter Federal Voting Laws?
-
What federal voting laws? The Supreme Court gutted the Voters Rights Act so states have even more control of how the run their elections. I’m guessing if it passes some states my try and do the same and some will not.
-
"Section 1. The right of citizens of the United States, who are eighteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age."
-
Very interesting. This may be grounds for not forcing other states to do the same as well. I would be interested to see if this passes and how.

Me too...

Of course. More Dems in that age range. As the old saying goes: when your young you vote with your heart, then you grow up and need a job so you vote with your brain.
