If any soldiers kill any migrants without a declaration of war they will be in prison. Rules of the military are far more strict than law enforcement. Hopefully most soldiers understand this.

And if they’re granted a blanket pardon? Then what?
-
Still have to be convicted to be pardoned.
-
Being given an order isn't an excuse. Ask the Nazi german solders that got convicted years later. They know its wrong and hopefully this is all just bluster to rile up his base and not real orders that good soldiers will have to decide about following.

Wow, when I came home from Viet Nam I was called a baby killer as were my brothers. Anyone familiar with the time knows what the VN experience did to the military and how long it took to repair it. What will they call soldiers who fire on unarmed refugees.
-
Criminals. That's what.
-
You’re probably right but I fear as usual they won’t go up the chain.

If rocks are the same as firearms, then gun owners should have no problem trading in their guns for rocks.

Mic Drop Matthew!!
-
Yeah, let them throw rocks and ask someone else’s family to just stand there...logic as usual as left the left

Tuan, Someone throwing a rock at a soldier with armor, padding, and a helmet, is not equal to a soldier shooting a person without armor, padding, and a helmet.
@realDonaldTrump is creating a threat that doesn’t exist, and setting the path for a slaughter. -
Dems should offer GOP a deal. Both agree 2nd and 14th Amendments go. Nation resets and new laws emerge as citizens see fit. Suspect GOP might decline.
-
Better yet, invoke the 25th Amendment and remove Trump from office, immediately!
-
Come to Vietnam. You’d fit right in.
-
Your Vietnamese heritage likely links to the mid/late 1970s era mass immigration to US and other democracies. Thousands upon thousands of immigrants were welcomed and did well. Trump would have no part of that outcome today. Why your admiration?
