Just a guy, doing his job in the best way that he can, serving the public, making this small piece of the world just a little easier to get through. Here's a virtual motorist's hand-wave, "thank you" and smile to this public servant!

It'd also be heroic if the city figured out how and when to clean up street debris before this stuff happens.

Never know what’s floating down there, that’s nasty stuff. Moving debris, just slightly moving can scratch the surface of the skin and any bacteria in the water can cause an infection and lead to many issues. Skin is the largest organ of the body, it absorbs everything.

Another one of the many often mis used words out there. I believe he’s on the clock just doing his job. Now if a person got out of their mini van full of kids to do that, maybe

You can be heroic while doing your job. He could be just sitting in the truck. This is above & beyond. I have been in his shoes.
