Maybe start raising our children better? It seems like it's been getting worse.

Last Mother's Day I watched a Mother & young Son for about 45mins (not creepy at all..). The Mom ONLY looked up from phone 3 times: to take a quick "Smile & show Mommy's Followers how Happy we are!" pics. Then, right back to phone. Was heartbreaking. The kid kept wandering off.

This is sad. Electronics & using social media tends to make us more distant from our children, parents, friends, etc. Yeah people have to work but you had a child & it's your responsibility to take care of them. Make sure they're raise right & succeed.
-
Right? Then they scratch their head when kid turns out dysfunctional, and swear it must be a mental issue (Insert Pills here), because just look at all these "great pics" we have of us sharing "happy times".

Yeah it's a growing epidemic that's being pushed under the rug. You have all that & rising suicide rates in teens that shouldn't even be happening. I even made a post earlier about even Silicon Valley parents don't have electronics near their children. I hope it's not too late.
-
It truly is sad. Here's everyone worrying about guns, plastic bags, plastic straws, car emissions, etc.: and it's lack of proper Parenting (showing Self Esteem, Love, Morals, etc.) that will do Human Race in way sooner than the environment.

Weve had guns for 100's of years, semi automatic for over a century, this uptick in mass public violence is relatively new in comparison. This leads me to believe its something else.

When my dad was young, it was common for students at the High School to have deer rifles on racks in their trucks out in the parking lot. A lot of people will tell you the same. And yet... no mass shootings. Nobody snapped and grabbed their rifle. Something else DID change.

Apparently, some even had ranges and rifle clubshttps://www.google.com/amp/s/nypost.com/2018/03/31/when-toting-guns-in-high-school-was-cool/amp/ …

Guns have been around a long time! People need to change. Be good parents and teach kids respect and the value of life. Go to church and pray for others.

Why don't they say what happened? A kid who was depressed, bullied and mentally unstable used a gun to take it out on people he felt like hated him. There was signs everywhere but know one paying attention or taking information seriously. This kid was crying out and nobody listened

If I am not mistaken that kid was being bullied by
