He hides behind the law to justify abuse of the most vulnerable, then says his "faith" is under attack if people object to being discriminated against, or a woman tries to make healthcare choices based on sound medical advice & her own conscience, instead of his.

Wow. That brother in Christ stood up! Question: is it going to be possible to ask those in power to follow Christ (if they claim the be Christian), without them claiming to be “attacked”? Proverbs 27:17 says that”iron sharpeneth iron”.

Normalisation of police escorting people out of meetings who disagree with a speaker - is a symptom. do people even get that? normalising it is accepting it. absolutely nothing those clergy said warranted their removal. instead Sessions should have said let them stay. Alas, no.
-
The rest of the people in the room came to listen to Sessions not to listen to people interrupting him.

This is an example of excellent pushback from the religious community. We need more of it, from more religious leaders!

And if you had played the rest, you would’ve heard Sessions talk about how he has the right to enforce US law. Those bozos were making a mockery of Biblical passages to suit their own agenda.

Interesting that quoting the Bible is now seen as an attack. Oh, Jefferson. You are God’s own disappointment.

Thank these Clergymen for speaking truth to power—using The Bible no less, and in the process exposing the hypocrisy of these republicans, and the Charleston known as

Police removed the pastor for admonishing
@jeffsessions, who apparently viciously hates God, to repent, in essence giving the@MethodistCh and God the middle finger.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
