Sorry Donald. We cannot put armed guards at every building to deal with the problems your mouth creates.

No need. There are people who train everyday to lay down their lives for a stranger at a moment's notice. I don't see the color BLUE or RED when a human life is at stake.
-
We still shouldn't feed the conspiracy theories of wackos for a few votes on Election Day either.
-
AMEN!!!!!! WELL SAID! So nice to see someone else sees through the BS.

A good start would be maybe to stop demonising each other ? - the political landscape in the USA has turned into a 'nazi' vs 'communist' mindset where whichever side you are on, the 'others' are the worst and less than human... how about some rational discourse for a change
-
Well said my man! The political crap has gone too far... I feel the problem is no one respects the person next to them. Live and learn to love and respect one another... Just my thoughts.

Armed guards at places of worship and schools would be a good start to stop killings, it would be the preferred choice by people who cherish their lives, but hey, Trump suggested it, so it must be bad, let's get killed instead to punish him

Why don't you take this idea to Israel and demand that they disarm their people and remove their armed guards?

Murderers dont follow laws. So if guns were banned they would still have one. So having an equal force to counter it is common sense. Unless you are a lefty dope of course.

The increased feeling that you can’t be safe anywhere is in the context of less people owning guns. The idea of allowing the entire society to be armed is a staple of this, the safest nation on earth. There is even a specific protection of that right in our constitution.

Face it~it’s risky out there. Often it’s the Mentally ill. Until THAT improves~ along with HATE~ you have to face facts. Protect. Refuse to live all paranoid~ totally get your point~ but it is what it is; Houses of Worship are targeted in spiritual battles-they best ARM UP

Solving every situation like this with more armoring isn’t the exact solution, their are plenty more options to solve these kinds of problems.
-
So how do you stop a murderer with a gun?
-
There is very little to counter direct violence, other than violence. You are correct. Still the mentality of murder should not be cast aside as human nature. Sometimes the best defense is a good offense. We need to address triggers as well as pulling them. We can do better.
-
We do need to address mental illness of course. I agree 100%. But when theres a gunman infront of you with a gun, do you think a sit down and a chat will help?
