Meh! If I were given up for adoption, I would take that as a fairly loud voice of rejection and wouldn't bother tracking down my biological parents. I would be more interested in my adoptive parents who definitely chose to have me.

I just did. The insult still stands. I am sorry. I have high standards for parents and the subsequent responsibilities they must bare. If they were reasonably educated, then they should have used protection if they didn't want to give children up for adoption.

I never get how this kind of thing is emotional for the adult children in these scenarios. I didn’t know my birth father until I was in my 20s but there certainly wasn’t any emotion in meeting him. It was just a curiosity as to if there were any genetic health issues to consider.
