It’s crazy that they think any amount money is going to fix this , the family still won’t get their daughter back . Change how the system works instead of paying people off for your mistakes.

Her parents now have to live with that guilt for the rest of their lives addicts are sick the same as if they have a terminal illness and cannot be left to suffer withdrawals in jail without supervised medications so sad poor girl died this way

she needed methadone it curbs the withdrawals -
Yes in her case methadone or suboxone would've helped immensely. I used suboxone for a year to help with my addiction.
