When people make comments about how they think colleges run and they don’t understand kids in college have a full time school schedule, likely work because their loans are gaining interest, and have about 20k in debt yearly, it just goes to show you they follow a written script.

Let’s take an administration that has a leader in schools, Betsy Devos, who has worked to not allow a ton of students to have tuition forgiveness over a set number of years, wants to end protections for people on campuses.

Maybe it’s the rising tuition costs for people who want a trade and a career, one that you have to have a degree in but because of peoples decisions in the administration the economic environment can decline at any moment and they may leave school with no job in sight.

No, it’s got to be cuse the kids got participation trophies when they were little. *sarcasms* No, it’s because in the 1960s, tuition was cheap and education was privileged. In the 2000s, college is necessary to find work and expensive as hell.

No it’s because the government and the special interests decided they would work together to produce millions of debt slaves. When colleges are guaranteed $ from the gov, the raise tuition. College is not necessary. I have a bachelors and make more $ not using it.

I hope trump continues to push trade schools. Obama pushed millions of kids into college with the false promise it would provide more income.

Apparently college isn't challenging enough for students to stress about that but instead have the energy to stress about the election. College is teaching kids how to breeze through life and worry about things other than their own success.

If we raised our children properly they have time for both. My child is a Biochem Major and stresses out about classes constantly, but he also stresses about this administration’s denials of climate change. Their future is on the line too.
