One month after Maria, the government reported the death toll at 51, acknowledging there had been more than 900 cremations on the island after the storm. Nearly 11 months later, an independent study reported an estimated 2,975 had died following Maria.http://abcn.ws/2NnxwSp

That electrical grid was only operating at 30% before the storm. What about corruption?
Aside from the PR govt hiding and stealing relief supplies..what did they do with millions we send them to keep their infrastructure up to date? Guess the stole that too....

Curious what was the state of their electric grid previous to the hurricane? Post hurricane theyve gotten significant upgrades and repairs that were needed for a long time. This point gets lost in the fog of the politics of PR.
The absolute preparedness for the entire Island depended on its local government who have ignored the pleas of its people & the safety of its constituents. Now they want to shame and blame President Trump. Own Up P.R. Democrats !!!
Ya that liberal Mayor really screwed things up down there. Its too bad she caused the deaths of her citizens.
