You don’t need money to leave!!! Someone will fill up your car with gas. Some transport will get you out. You can find free shelter. Just freaking leave. Duh!

And exactly who will pay for their Gas? I live in Sc , lived through many hurricanes and I have never heard of any agency paying for gas, and don’t ask the salvation. Army they will tell you they have no idea when they will receive funds.

I don’t know about SC maybe but damn if I know anybody where I live who wouldn’t buy us a tank of gas to get out if we needed it. If I lived on that ocean I’d be hitch hiking till someone picked us up or call the cops. They’re just too proud and they could die.

Finally, someone covers the flipside to the government saying residents are stupid for staying. You want them to evacuate, but to where? They have no money for hotels, and shelters fill up with people who have jobs that allow them to leave early. Where are the public services?
-
Maybe ask the tea party crowd?
-
The freaks who think Jesus will decide who gets to survive?

She had enough money to buy the spray paint to write “Thank God for Trump”. So, with GOP logic, if she’s so poor, why does she keep having out of wedlock kids and pets?

Not sure why you had to add “out of wedlock” kids like that’s an issue. Could’ve just left it at kids.

Republican obsession with marriage and reproductive rights. Try to keep up.pic.twitter.com/OGVnTprP4w

Idgaf about the politics. That comment was ridiculous no matter what party you agree with.

Yeah, and what the hell are out of wedlock pets?

Got too far in my rant. Knew someone would catch that.pic.twitter.com/sXCk7w1WGJ

A high cat 4 or cat 5 would be the only reason to leave. Unless you’re right on the beach. Traffic and trying to get back is usually worse than the storm.
-
Finally someone who sounds like they actually have some experience with hurricanes. Many of us in Charleston are staying. A nightmare trying to get back if you leave. For a 3 or 4 yes, not for tropical storm.
-
It’ll take a lot more than this to get me to go. I slept through Hugo. Lol

Well take care

Thank you

You should evacuate a flood zone. Trust me. I lived and survived María in Puerto Rico.
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Last year Irma basically missed us in South Florida. We still had 2’ of water throughout the neighborhood, no electricity, and debris and downed power lines everywhere. Just leave, especially if u are pregnant.
-
They live paycheck to paycheck. Evacuating is a privilege.
-
You stay in your car, bro. You do whatever you have to do. They stop emergency services, there is no help for you. You just gotta go.
