"I hate that it came to this." Homeless man who helped out a woman with his last $20 gaining national fame for it, has spoken out just one day after a judge ordered the woman and her husband to turn over what's left of the money they raised in his name. https://abcn.ws/2Cn3Dg7 pic.twitter.com/T5HA8izpi8

Let’s pause for a moment—is anyone surprised that a woman who was willing to take a homeless man’s last $20 turned out to be a garbage person?

Funny how everyone posting gives their opinions on how this man will spend or has spent HIS money 🤔. If he wants to buy 25k in Heroin or 25k in bubble gum. Thats his money and its not your problem smh

EXACTLY! If he's making illegal purchases it's up to the law to deal with it not them.

If they feared that he would be irresponsible with the money, why didnt they just set up a trust fund in his name that would allow him a bit at a time for everyday expenses?

In the end it was the couple that was irresponsible spending over half of the money on hotels partying and casinos.

Is not your call, people donated money to him. The people who donated that money wanted that money to be handed over to him.

I beg to differ. Drugaddicts should never, ever, be given cash that ends up in the coffers of organized crime. This is called Axiom Alves I.

Their biggest clients are rich people (politicians, bankers, etc) are you taking money out of their hands?

They are not homeles. Only homeless drugaddicts are a social problem. Rich addicts choose to commit suicide by drugs and certainly they have the right to try. But the cost of homelessness is paid by taxpayers. This is not acceptable.

Based on your logic, rich people subsidies organized crime. And if you speak about burden to society, Bernie Madoff and the bankers have had more burden to society than all homeless people combined and I don't see you complaining about that.

But Madoff is in jail and he will not be seen again for 150 years.Homelessness by drug-addicts is a clear and present danger because when they run out of money they may rob and kill innocent,hard-working,tax-paying Americans. They are very dangerous, like a wolf in a kindergarden

A drug addict would have NEVER gave his last hit money to help someone....I’ve been homeless and was never an addict. It’s quite shallow to automatically assume it is so.
