I'm missing something here if there is an injunction how can they do business or does the injunction just ask them to think about it or what.
-
What you're missing, is that this headline is deliberately false. The company was told not to put them on their website, but the injunction clearly stated they may legally distribute the files via email, mail, etc. Just not a website. (Which means it's a 1A violation also.)

Ok thank you now that I understand

Shame on them for putting up the link. We have metal detectors to prevent guns from posting a threat on airplanes, court houses, schools, big events, even Disneyland. This is bad and should be banned.

You can simply download them all over the internet, try to stop that, is nearly imnpossible. That will be the thing with 3D printing anyway, how can you stop it from being uploaded and shared like any other file?

What's sad is people will actually think that this picture is of an actual 3d printed gun. FYI, it's a plastic block with a handle screwed to it. Literally.

Government has little control over what is put on the internet but they do have control over ownership of guns in their country. Make the penalties of printing these guns that high that the people have to think twice about braking the law.

And when someone uses it to kill someone, I hope the CEO & Exec’s are charged with murder too!

Hope all you want. It's perfectly legal to make your own firearm at home.

What a croc of shite. One doesn’t need a 3D printer to manufacture firearms and one only need reflect upon the so called ‘junk guns’ that certain criminal groups have been turning out with jewellers lathes.
