And of course he survived. Police didn’t fire a shot at him and he was arrested without getting so much as a scratch. Don’t tell me there is no disparity in treatment of black people by police.

Why didn't they shoot him IN THE BACK!!!
-
Or put him in a chokehold, or taz him, or best him up for saying, “Don’t put your hands on me.”

Once again the assailant lives. That's great. But, so many black people are killed, assaulted and needlessly confronted by police and disrespected by some of the public. William Chapman III was accused of shoplifting at a Wal-Mart, but he was shot and killed by a police officer.

I'm surprised that they didn't take him shopping before heading to jail. Meanwhile blacks are shot in the back while in their grandparents back yard.

It’s not a mystery as to why he wasn’t gunned down... But we REALLY need to have that talk that police chiefs, union heads, mayors, city counsel members & even those above have been ducking for years...

Unless that shoplifter was also wanted for murder or something, I strongly suspect he was on drugs. The police have difficult jobs. Bodycam footage helps the public respect and appreciate the challenges they face. The police shouldn't resist being transparent with us.
