This is shocking and sad in equal measure. Calamities seem to happen more frequently and with greater intensity. There's a disaster in Japan, the Philippines, China, Taiwan, India, U.K., the U.S. The weather is the Great Equaliser; rich and poor nations alike suffer its fury.
Terrifying. My heart hurts for everyone involved. I witnessed the 35W bridge collapse and this brings the same feelings as that tragedy.
@DianeDeDeaux another example of fear crossing bridges
That is a true tragedy, but our peace nobel prize in Colombia @JuanManSantos, give us calm, given that according to him, the fall of a bridge is normal. What mental poverty and insensibility so great of that man.

WOW just read an article bout this on MSNBC they were so nonchalant about it in the article like it was nothing.. this is terrible..
So sorry to hear that. It’s devastating
How long this bridge been on service? Does the city of Genoa, italy saw any sign of Cracks around? Who was the head supervisor of the bridge? Any repair made from time to time? Any suspicions of a mild earthquake or not? Maybe it was a tsunami then a mild earthquake.pic.twitter.com/jsmYsUrfgt
That weather doesn't bring down bridges, not spending money on maintenance brings down bridges
May God’s comforting spirit be with these families. So sad.
