Wow! WHY would the salon refuse! She should make a huge deal out of this with the media...others do when they feel they were discriminated against. This is no different.

."Both women said their main goal was to raise awareness for people with disabilities, not to punish or boycott the nail salon. 'I forgive the nail people for not doing my nails,' Peters told ABC News in a statement. 'When people do us wrong we must forgive... .' " That's why.

Good response. We so desperately need to focus on the good and the kind spirits amongst us. We have enough daily dribble about how terrible we are. Here's an example of what makes us so special.

I don't forgive them for not doing their jobs. They should have done her nails! There was no reason not to!
-
That cashier is a very nice person to have done a very nice thing. Those nail techs should be ashamed.

Generally speaking, Black folks ALWAYS find the kindness that the world refuses them. It’s utterly incredible when you think about it...like REALLY think about.
-
On the subway, it’s always the black men who get up for this old lady, rarely the white men.
-
It happened again today. A black man gave me his seat. At the next stop enough ppl got off that he sat next to me. We got to talking and I showed him this tweet from last night. He laughed and said he’d tell his mama. She made him that way. Asked him to thank her for me. 1/2
-
A few stops later he gets up again for another older woman. I told her that he had done the same for me. She said so few people are kind that way any more, and she was grateful for the seat. Made for a very pleasant ride home. 2/2
