Florida’s “stand your ground” law allows racist white men to attack and kill people of color. This is complete bullshit and Sheriff Bob Gualtieri should be embarrassed that he has to stand up there and announce no charges for a racist MURDERER.

Stand your ground is a law giving whites the ability to shoot & kill black people! This law surely doesn't work in reverse. All we need to do is look at the case involving a Black woman : Marissa Alexander in 2015: "I went to prison for a warning shot".

EXCUSE ME! I thought your job was to arrest people that may have violated the law. Not to act also as judge and jury! If there’s a question of guilt the new arrest the person and let the courts figure it out. True? Fyi,

Scared white people R dangerous. Can POC stand their ground & kill other folks? NOT ADVOCATING IT. But I never hear of Black folks getting away w/ murder 4 standing their ground. Black mom who was abused by her husband is in jail 4 standing her ground & firing a

She shot into the ceiling, not at him. But she's black so...

I knew that he wasn't hurt. But she's still in jail. I guess Black folks can't stand their ground even when they're being abused. What's wrong with this picture? She can't even be with her kids.

He was pushed to the ground, not injured and was not re-approached... There was no reason for the stand your ground law to be enacted!
-
The push was violent, no doubt. The intent was to injure him, no doubt. HE DID KEEP coming. BUT... once he pulled the weapon, he backed off. I do agree, he shouldn't have shot, but your not exactly correct in what you're saying.
-
He DID NOT re-approach in a violent way. Have a blind eye to what happened to this African American citizen, but the shot was an act of bigotry. The man has a history of bigotry.
