He didn’t have to introduce himself, some people are private, and some people need to mind their own business

The officers aren't at fault here. They were responding to a possible burglary in progress. They are going to have their guns drawn regardless. Because they don't know if the burglar is still there, and if he's armed.
-
Yeah, it was mainly the neighbor that called police and said there was a "big black man" breaking in. That neighbor is a horrible racist.
-
ESP much? If the neighbor called then it was a grudge, not racism. Clearly they [knew] who he was and did it out of spite. In that case, the bitch should be charged with a false 911 report.
-
Actually if you read the article, the neighbor and he never met. It actually says the cops took him over there and introduced them to each other. Sounded like he recently bought the house.
-
Which is why it's racist. Guy never meets his neighbor. Then he sees a black man walk into the neighbors house whom he's never seen. And the first thing a neighbor assumes is that it's a burglar.
-
Yes, absolutely could be racist. Or could be a neighbor seeing someone they've never seen before, entering the house. The key is that if you don't see them actually "breaking and entering" it definitely seems more on the racist side.
-
If they have never met, why would the neighbor assume the black man going thru the door is amiss? I would just assume it's my neighbor.
-
You would, because you are thinking more logically than his neighbor did lol. But that's why it's important to introduce yourself to your neighbors. I would a neighbor that would look out for my home. If someone actually was burglarizing his house, the neighbor saved the day.

Why you running a tweet about an incident that happened two years ago and making it seem like it just happened now? This is shameless sensationalism of the news and better titling of this story would of been more appropriate

Like he said, lucky his son wasn't strapped with the remote control. Cops would've ghosted him.

Omg, give it a break. The cops did nothing wrong. They responded to a burglary call. They don't know if the burglar is still in the house, and if he's armed. They did not do it because he was black. They did it because they thought they were responding to a crime in progress.

Lol, I'm hoping this gif was meant for @obviocto? In which case, yes. Slap some common sense into these people.
-
Yes! Your reply was like a slap in the face which he needed to wake up
-
Right. The cops are using standard procedure, just like they would for any burglary call. But because he was black, gotta throw down that race card. Guess they're supposed to just ring the doorbell and ask if there are any armed burglars inside!
