        I don't care if she was protesting. A person can't just scale the Statue of Liberty a national monument and expect not to be punished. IN NEW YORK of all places. How this can even happen post 9/11 is beyond me.

        She's not illegal i assume. She immigrated from the republic of congo. She committed a federal offense by climbing the statue and risking lives to rescue her. Isnt that grounds for deportation?
