Maybe their needs to be some device made like a GPS device that crewmen have to wear encase of incidents like this should happen again. Maybe a bracelet because that is scary as hell. By the grace of god that is a miracle that person was found alive!

The person did not FALL overboard. You don't fall off a cruise ship. Yes, the crew member is amazingly lucky and being rescused alive is miraculous. But 'falling' off a ship is not what happened.
