He wants it to be vicious, no one will be thinking of Russia, or his lawyer Cohen, Manafort. All eyes will be on the selection. They are connected and we can't lose sight of that. Pardoning and indictments.
-
Of course no coincidence that he'll make his pick on the Monday after he finds out about Cohen being charged with crimes, big distraction.. you know MSM can't cover 2 subjects at a time they want to control the narrative so you'll see a blip of info on Cohen

Yes, the Democrats think President Trump should nominate a liberal justice who likeS to make new law from the bench and IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
-
You have no idea what Democrats think. We think that an impartial jurist, not a toad of the Federalist Society, should be nominated.

When he says "vicious fight", what it really means is he's going to throw a tantrum until someone gives in a gives him a cookie.

Should never be a fight over such. I have always thought that the American president would be on the same side as the people he represented.

Unfortunately, LONG GONE are the days of class, respect and empathy. Trump IS NO role model for the children of our country!

You are damn right there is going to be a fight. There should be no vote on a Supreme court nominee until the new Congress is in session. If it was appropriate for McConnell when Garland was nominated to postpone a vote until elections were over, it should be appropriate now.
