Please appeal to your GOP representatives. Dems have tried to get these Jim Crow Era laws struck down but GOP representatives keep blocking them.
I'm not saying they would all vote a certain way, or even all vote - but in FL for instance, the gap was less than 400,000. The number of disenfranchised is nearly *triple* that!

I tried in vein to help a friend with a felony conviction figure out if they'd paid back their fines. They have turned their life around and are a model employee...it was saddening as we in fl voted to give her back her rights and republicans in the state senate then messed it up
