The Trump / GOP plan is clear: If Trump is ahead in the vote count on election night, his campaign is going to fight to stop the count and/or throw out remaining ballots. Republican judges, including at least three Supreme Court justices, seem to be on board with this plan.
When deciding the case brought by the Pa. GOP, three justices explicitly left open the possibility that the Supreme Court could decide to throw out certain ballots after the election, and noted Pennsylvania would segregate certain ballots making it easier for the Court to do so.
