NEW: A judge just approved a $1 million settlement against Michael J. Reynolds, an ex-NYPD officer who broke into a Black woman's home by kicking down her door and then yelling racial slurs at her. The officer was partying in Nashville at the time of his violent incident.
Reynolds kicked in Conese Halliburton's door before screaming "try to shoot me, and I'll break every fucking bone in your fucking neck" and hurtling racist slurs at Halliburton. Reynolds was never fired from the NYPD, instead opting to resign.
