A Michigan sheriff shared a stage with one of the terrorists who plotted to kidnap and kill Governor Whitmer. The sheriff says "we can't convict them in the news media here; they do have a right to a fair trial," something he almost certainly has never said or when it comes to Black or brown individuals arrested by his department.
The sheriff spends the last part of the interview insisting that the terrorists might have been carrying out a "citizen's arrest" of Governor Whitmer, and that doing so would have been legitimate. This is law enforcement aligned with white supremacist terrorism.
