1,984 people have served as U.S. Senators. Only two of them have been Black women. Senator Harris's accomplishments are already historic.

This needs to change. Black women are saving America right now, as they have done repeatedly in the past. It is time the Senate reflects that patriotic impact and significance.
Being black are historic accomplishments. I will say nothing special about U.S. Senators. They (women and men) do nothing for people, all doings only for rich and powerful.

The fantastic Carol Moseley Braun was the first black female Senator. The marvellous Barbara Jordan was in the House of Representatives.
