Baltimore officers beat, tasered and verbally abused Ashley Overbey Underwood. Last year, the Fourth Circuit found Baltimore's use of gag orders to be unconstitutional and the Baltimore City Council then unanimously passed a bill banning the use of gag orders in city settlements for police brutality and discrimination cases.
The wild thing is that gag orders seem to be part and parcel of those “settlements” and I really would like that to stop.
