In her scathing dissent in Shelby Counter v. Holder, Justice Ginsburg wrote that "the grand aim of the [Voting Rights] Act is to secure to all in our polity equal citizenship stature, a voice in our democracy undiluted by race." We can and will continue to word toward that goal.
