The D.C. police chief is claiming that Deon Kay, the 18-year-old who was shot and killed by an officer yesterday, was armed because a gun was found 98 feet from where Kay was shot. "That does seem like a long way to throw a weapon," Chief Newsham says during his conference.
Unsurprisingly, Chief Newsham expresses more concern for the officer who killed Deon Kay than he does for Kay. Newsham tells reporters "when cops respond to these situations and they fear for their lives they are put under a lot of stress."
I mean, being in DC he was also relatively close to several military bases, some battleships, a couple of fighter jets, and the nuclear launch buttons. He was absolutely an imminent threat.
It helps if you watch the video where you can see him take out a gun then throw it as he gets shot.

That gun has probably been there for days, weeks, even months. Who's to say one of those crooked ass officers didn't put it there. Question the mf that found it 98 ft. away from the scene. This is very suspect in my opinion...straight bs.
