Prosecuting Amy Cooper doesn't bring us closer to a society in which police can't just arrive and start shooting Black people, or closer to a society in which Black people aren't locked up for false allegations. Prosecuting Cooper is an individual response to a systemic problem.
It sets a damn example. You cannot allow her to get away with this.
