India Kager should be celebrating her 32nd birthday today, but Virginia police shot and killed her in September 2015.

Kager was an artist and Navy veteran who was a loving and supportive parent. When the police killed her, she wasn't armed. She wasn't the subject of any investigation. She had done nothing wrong. The officers still killed her.
Her life mattered.

Her boyfriend shot at police with her and their baby in the car. Let's be clear she didn't deserve to die and 30 rounds is far too many but he put her life in danger not the police.
