    I think the arrogance of this statement is astounding. we had a democratic vote, our job is to deliver on that result.

    I’m struck, from a long time in politics, how few politicians ever make a stand on a fundamental principle. The right thing on Brexit - politically, economically, morally - is & always has been to seek to stop it democratically. Yet most politicians are stuck in half-way houses

    The UK’s financial sector paid £75bn in tax this year, which is £2.9bn more than last year going towards our schools, hospitals and roads. This is exactly why I am doing everything in my power to promote and protect our financial sector now and long after Brexit.
