There IS a live action Avatar: the Last Airbender movie that came out at almost the same time as Avatar, but she was definitely thinking about the one with the blue aliens with the ears (neither of us have seen it).

Delighted to announce that was today years old when she learned that the film Avatar by James Cameron does not take place in the same cinematic universe as the animated television show Avatar: the Last Airbender.

When I was shot in the torso Jasper left at a moments notice to basically rescue me and take me back to my car bc no ride shares were in the area and walking was difficult. If you are able, please send funds their way!

Everything Tuck said! Also, when I tweeted about needing a battery pack, Jasper immediately reached out and drove downtown to bring me a full set of gear. 🥺 Please support this wonderful, kind person and their equally wonderful work! Venmo:

(The feds did the majority of the gassing but PPB did plenty, too, and this is still extremely funny)

a reminder to my non-black minorities: the systemic racism tilted against all of us aint the same for us as it is for black people we can commiserate over shared experiences but ultimately it just don’t hit us like it does them & acknowledging that does not undercut our struggle

Jasper has been covering the protests for a month, and has been hit with pepper balls, flash bangs, and munitions more times than I can count. They are now home healing from their many injuries. Please help support a young QTPOC, they deserve it! Venmo:

Nothing I tweet matters because we're descending into fascism and I care about living more than I care about my future hire-ability.

One woman was running from police, trying to obey a dispersal order. Another was looking down at his phone. One woman was standing still at the fence. One man was standing after bending to check on another protester. All were seriously hurt by police or federal officers.

These are the devices that are believed to have been used from planes circling overhead during Black Lives Matter protests the last few months and during the Dakota Access pipeline protests. Stingrays not only can grab communication but can also jam mobile communication.

"Shortly after protests began in various cities, the DEA had sought special authority from the Justice Department to covertly spy on Black Lives Matter protesters on behalf of law enforcement" Useful article about stingrays and other cell phone surveillance tools.

Portland, this is your friendly reminder that Twitter does not alt-tag images for you. If inclusivity is the goal here, please remember to include blind people like myself in your visual dialogue (images).

I was literally sitting on my porch just now, browsing the USPS online store, when my mail carrier appeared and dropped off a bunch of packages and letters. It took a lot of restraint not to say, “oh hey, I’m a fan, I was just looking at your merch store.”
