    I'm excited to be taking over the maintenance of a library as well-conceived and well-implemented as urllib3. We have a great team, and I look forward to seeing what we can do in 2018 and beyond.

    Maintaining urllib3 has been a pleasure, but I’m looking forward to seeing what will do with the reins. Sadly it’s time for me to step back from the maintenance job for a while.

    If you're even a bit technical (know about hashes), read the Bitcoin whitepaper. It's very approachable and interesting. Even if you hate the many things bitcoin stands for today, Satoshi's paper is what started this entire field of study and industry:

    That literally happened to us. Boss wants to change our iOS game icon. Changing icon requires a new build. A new build requires iPhone X support. iPhone X build target requires Xcode 9. Xcode 9 requires macOS 10.12. OS update breaks old Unity3D. Upgrading Unity breaks build.
