    Obviously we can't forget Splatoon, where squids constantly shoot and kill each other with colorful paints. This is clearly an inspiration for Squid Game

    Another clear choice, if you're more into gaming than watching shows: The mario games! They also have a squid and boy it's a scary one. Brrrrr! cold water!

    You might think Squidward from spongebob is a wrong choice, since he's not into games. BUT! The truth is that he hates capitalism and you can find a connection there. Very smart show, just like Squid games.

    Let's start with the obvious follow up: Sam "Squid" Dullard from Rocket Power, always playing games with his skate board and bikes. Very extreme, it captures the fun of the Squid games.
