    Do you need another reason to attend the WV Coalfields Cookoff? Well, we have it! On June 12, alongside First Book,AFT-WV & AFT,we will be distributing FREE books & writing journals. Meet us at 9 Wyoming Street in Welch. Materials are available on a first-come first-served basis.

    On May 22nd, there will be a health fair sponsored by the South Central Educational Development, Inc. It will feature free health screenings, COVID-19 vaccinations, a Narcan training, and much more.

    On Saturday, w/ the Brothers and Sisters of the Patch, we hosted a cleanup in Keystone. Approximately 14 people filled up 86 large garbage bags with trash, as well as larger items such as old furniture. The project was supported by the WV Dept. of Environmental Protection (DEP).

    Today is the day! Meet us at the Cinder Bottoms neighborhood of Keystone at 9 a.m. where in partnership with the Brothers and Sisters of the Patch, we will host a community cleanup. Gloves and garbage bags will be provided for volunteers. We will also have pizza, water & snacks.
