    as a librarian who left the field because of racism, you better hope radical black people make as many community libraries as humanly possible. it’s in everyone’s best interest to support these projects however we can.

    “I’ve never heard of that happening before” is perhaps the most useless response one can give to instances of racialized cruelty. If you’ve not heard of it before, it’s because you weren’t the target. This is not difficult to grasp.
