    McKean is one of the best to ever do it. A singular talent with a fluidity between tools rarely seen in comics. Cages is one of my all time favorite works of art.

    If your company design culture yields this, leadership is to blame. Not a junior designer trying to survive a toxic environment where people can’t say “the arrows are pointing the wrong way” even in private conversation. I bet everyone knew.

    Signal boosting this. The business of comics is booming, the quality of life for those making comics is at an all time low. Proper credit is just professional due diligence.

    This is the work of artist Sam Kieth, who I have seen get no official credit. That’s a problem. We need to start putting in a clause guaranteeing storyboard credits and fees for situations like this for all Hollywood option deals going forward.
